EAGLEMONT refurb & landscape

Interior Renovation & Landscape _ Eaglemont VIC. Australia _Completed 2017

This project involved refurbishing a previously extended period home in Eaglemont to better reflect the taste and lifestyle of its new occupants.

The internal renovation worked within the existing building footprint and envelope, introducing natural materials and finishes to result in a space full of colour and light.  In addition to adding warmth and texture to the previously stark interiors, the refurbishment was used as an opportunity to open up the previously dark and introverted house to create a more immediate connection to the outdoors.

Outside, several new intimate living spaces are created, all connected to each other whilst maintaining their functional autonomy. A new swimming pool, lined with dark tiles, sinks into its surrounds by reflecting the greenery of the garden surrounding it.
